World’s Largest Garage Sale – Warrensburg, NY
These Vendor Terms & Conditions govern participation, conduct, safety, permits, insurance, and on-site operations for all vendors participating in the World’s Largest Garage Sale.
Application procedures, space assignments, payments, and refunds are governed separately by the Vendor Application & Space Assignment Policy and the Vendor Refund & Cancellation Policy, available under the SELL section of this website.
By submitting an application and participating in the event, vendors agree to comply with all terms outlined below.
The World’s Largest Garage Sale is a multi-day event. Vendors are expected to:
Be fully set up prior to the start of the event
Remain open for business during all designated event hours
Remain in place through the conclusion of the event unless otherwise approved by event organizers
Early teardown or departure without approval may affect future participation eligibility.
Vendors must remain within the boundaries of their assigned space
Subleasing or sharing space without approval is prohibited
Vendors may not obstruct walkways, emergency access routes, or neighboring spaces
Space dimensions are approximate and may be adjusted as required by site conditions
Event organizers reserve the right to make on-site adjustments for safety or logistical reasons.
Vehicle access is limited to designated loading and unloading times
Vehicles must be removed from vending areas during event hours unless explicitly permitted
Parking is limited to approved vendor parking areas only
Overnight parking or storage is at the vendor’s own risk
The Chamber is not responsible for theft, damage, or loss of vehicles or property.
The following are strictly prohibited:
Weapons, firearms, fireworks, explosives, or illegal items
Alcohol sales without proper permits
Items or displays containing hate speech, discriminatory messaging, or offensive content
Activities deemed unsafe or inappropriate by event organizers
Event staff reserve the right to remove prohibited items or vendors without refund.
Vendors are expected to conduct themselves in a professional, respectful manner at all times.
Harassment, disorderly behavior, or failure to follow instructions from event staff may result in removal from the event.
Vendors are responsible for:
Obtaining and displaying all required permits and licenses
Complying with New York State sales tax requirements
Ensuring food vendors meet all local and state health regulations
Failure to provide required documentation may result in removal from the event.
Vendors may be required to provide proof of liability insurance
Food vendors and certain high-risk vendors must name the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce as an additional insured
Vendors participate at their own risk
The Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce, Town of Warrensburg, and affiliated partners are not responsible for injury, loss, or damage.
Electricity and water are not provided
Generators must meet noise and safety standards
Tents, canopies, and equipment must be properly weighted and secured
Open flames, cooking equipment, and fuel storage must comply with fire safety regulations
Unsafe setups may be required to be modified or removed.
Vendors are responsible for maintaining a clean space
Trash, grease, and waste must be disposed of properly
Illegal dumping or damage to public or private property may result in fines or exclusion from future events
The event will take place rain or shine.
In the event of severe weather, emergencies, or circumstances beyond the organizers’ control, the Chamber reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the event.
Event organizers have full authority to:
Enforce these Terms & Conditions
Make on-site decisions for safety and logistics
Remove vendors who fail to comply, without refund
