Getting to Warrensburg

Warrensburg is just off I-87, the Adirondack Northway, a few minutes north of Lake George. Four exits will get you to the sale. The one you pick decides whether you land on Main Street or at the park and ride.

Exits are listed south to north.

Exit 23

Warrensburg, the most direct route

Driving north (from Albany, Saratoga, Glens Falls)Turn left off the ramp for Main Street shopping, or right for the park and ride. Highway signs will point you to the signed shuttle parking route below.
Driving south (from Plattsburgh, Montreal)Turn right off the ramp for Main Street shopping, or left for the park and ride.

Exit 22

Lake George

Head north on Route 9 into Warrensburg.

Exit 24

Bolton Landing

Take Schroon River Road south to free parking at the fairgrounds, or continue straight into Warrensburg.

Exit 25

Chestertown

Take Route 8 south, then Route 9 south into Warrensburg.

Follow the alternate route signs

Signed alternate routes are set up for the weekend to keep traffic from backing up into Warrensburg. Follow the signs, even if your GPS says otherwise.

Arriving from the south

Northbound highway signs on I-87 direct you to shuttle parking at the Warren County Fairgrounds without driving through town.

Take Exit 23 and turn right onto Diamond Point Road.
Turn left onto East Schroon River Road.
Turn left onto County Home Bridge Road.
Turn right onto Schroon River Road.
Park at the Warren County Fairgrounds.

Leaving Warrensburg

When you head home, look for the posted alternate route signs. They direct you along River Road to I-87, so you can skip the Main Street traffic on your way out.

Skip the Main Street backup

Main Street is packed with shoppers and slow-moving traffic all weekend. Drive to one of these lots instead of into the middle of town.

The shuttle runs Saturday and Sunday only, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. There is no shuttle on Friday. Paid parking is available throughout town all three days.

Free parking is on Schroon River Road, a short shuttle ride from Main Street.

Approximate drive times in normal traffic. Add extra time on sale weekend, especially on Saturday morning.
